Versatile Club Employer of Record is seeking a Property Accountant with 5+ years of commercial real estate accounting and hands-on Yardi Voyager 7 experience to join our India team. You will own property-level accounting for client portfolios as an individual contributor, coordinating with managers in India and Canada.

The role requires comfort with night PST shifts and strong Excel and written English skills for client communications.

Formación

• 5+ years in real estate or property accounting, mainly commercial (office, retail, industrial).
• Hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager 7.
• Experience with US and/or Canadian properties (US GAAP, IFRS or ASPE, GST/HST).
• Professional accounting designation (CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA or CGA), held or in progress.
• Strong Excel skills and clear written English for client emails.

Responsabilidades

• Full-cycle bookkeeping for each property: AR, AP, journal entries, tenant invoicing and payment processing.
• Maintain tenant receivables: rent roll updates, tenant ledgers, collections follow-up and arrears reporting.
• Prepare annual CAM / operating cost recovery budgets and year-end reconciliations.
• Perform bank, security deposit and intercompany reconciliations; post accruals, prepaids and recurring entries.
• Account for lease terms, including straight-line rent, free rent and tenant inducements.
• Prepare monthly property financial packages with variance analysis.
• Support year-end audit and tax with schedules, and handle client and property manager emails.

We are hiring a Property Accountant with 5+ years of commercial real estate accounting and hands-on Yardi Voyager 7 to join our India team. We are a Canada-based real estate fund administration and outsourcing firm serving US and Canadian real estate investment managers. You will own property-level accounting for client portfolios as an individual contributor, working with your manager, peers in India and Canada, and clients over email.

Working hours

This role works Pacific time, typically 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM PST.

• You must be comfortable working night shifts on a permanent basis.
  
  

What You Will Do
