Java frameworks:

• Java Server Faces (JSF) / Facelets
• AJAX component frameworks (RichFaces, IceFaces)
• Spring or Enterprise Java Beans 3 (EJB3)
• ORM Frameworks (Java Persistence API/JPA, Hibernate, TopLink)
• SQL & Databases (Oracle, Progress, MSSQL, H2, MySQL)
• Java Message Service (JMS)
• HTML, JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
• Testing Frameworks (JUnit, Selenium)
• Application Servers (JBoss, Glassfish)

Essential Knowledge and Skills

• At least 7+ years of software design and development experience
• Expert knowledge of Java, Java EE and JavaScript
• Strong knowledge of design patterns and best practices
• Expert knowledge of REST style web services
• Strong debugging and problem solving skills
• Familiar with HTML, HTTP, CSS, DOM, Cookies, JSON
• Excellent written & communication skills
• Experience with building cloud based web applications preferred
• Familiar with AWS stack or Equivalent (EC2, S3, Route 53, SQS, RDS, Redshift, VPC)
• Familiar with configuration management tools
