requires an experienced Project Quality (Mechanical) professional to oversee QA/QC activities during the construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of a 5 GW Solar Cell Manufacturing Plant in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu. The role ensures compliance with project specs, international standards, and quality systems while coordinating with EPC contractors, vendors, and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 10–15 years of experience in Mechanical QA/QC for large industrial EPC or Greenfield projects.
• Experience in Solar, Semiconductor, Battery, Electronics, Pharmaceutical, or Cleanroom manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Mechanical QA/QC plans across the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve Quality Plans, ITPs, and Method Statements.
• Conduct inspections for mechanical equipment, HVAC, cleanroom systems, and process utilities.
• Monitor EPC contractors and vendors for compliance with quality standards.
• Witness FAT, SAT, hydrotests, and commissioning activities.
• Manage NCRs, CAPAs, quality audits, and mechanical punch lists.
• Prepare quality documentation and completion dossiers.
• Support mechanical completion, commissioning, and handover.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Quality (Mechanical) professional to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities during the construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of the 5 GW Solar Cell Manufacturing Plant. The role will ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and quality management systems while coordinating with EPC contractors, vendors, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Mechanical QA/QC plans throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and Method Statements.
• Conduct inspections for mechanical equipment, HVAC, cleanroom systems, utility piping, compressed air, chilled water, and process utilities.
• Monitor EPC contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with project quality standards.
• Witness FAT, SAT, hydrotests, pressure tests, and commissioning activities.
• Manage NCRs, CAPAs, quality audits, and mechanical punch lists.
• Ensure timely preparation of quality documentation and mechanical completion dossiers.
• Support mechanical completion, commissioning, and project handover.
