Position Summary

The Program Manager will lead and drive projects by collaborating with cross‑functional teams, ensuring effective stakeholder communication and project execution. Responsibilities include supporting senior leadership, overseeing project planning and updates, consistent communication with clients and stakeholders and achieving quality and budget objectives.

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of solar energy projects.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and constraints.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with goals and objectives.
  • Allocate resources, tasks, and responsibilities to project team members.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines; take corrective actions as needed.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and challenges to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage project contracts, agreements, and vendor relationships.
  • Conduct regular project meetings, reviews, and status reports.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage changes in project scope, objectives, and requirements.
  • Foster a positive team environment that promotes collaboration and performance.
  • Lead project risk assessment and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee project documentation, reporting, and record-keeping.
  • Manage project procurement, including sourcing materials and services.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
  • Develop and implement strategies for quality assurance and quality control.
  • Adapt project plans based on changing market conditions and challenges.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project team members.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to manage project financials and cost tracking.
  • Adapt to new project management tools, software, and techniques.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
  • Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills and decision‑making abilities.
  • Foster relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry partners.
  • Adapt leadership style based on the needs and dynamics of project teams.

Education Requirements

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in the Solar Sector. (Consultancy experience is highly preferred).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ideas and run with them from concept
  • Technical understanding of clean energy business processes
  • Exceptional verbal and writing communication skills with superiors, peers, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and ever‑changing environment.
  • Excellence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
