Job summary

SGS India is seeking a Project Planner & Scheduler Executive to lead planning activities for EPC water and wastewater projects. The role requires hands-on Primavera P6 or MS Project, CPM mastery, and monthly/weekly reporting to drive project deliverables.

You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and site teams, travel to project sites as needed, and ensure adherence to QMS and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Project Planning & Scheduling.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 / MS Project.
• Knowledge of CPM and schedule analysis.
• Experience in S-Curve, progress monitoring, resource loading and forecasting.
• Good knowledge of project reporting and schedule tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and scheduling activities for assigned projects.
• Develop, update and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project or similar tools.
• Prepare and maintain Master Deliverable Schedules, including milestones, critical path, interfaces, risks and decision points.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics and Site teams.
• Monitor project progress, construction activities and schedule performance.
• Prepare and update S-Curves, progress reports, trackers, histograms and forecasts.
• Identify schedule delays, constraints, risks and critical path activities and highlight potential impacts.
• Support resource/manpower and cost loading based on project schedules.
• Conduct planning meetings and coordinate with stakeholders to achieve project deliverables.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project reports for Project Managers and management.
• Support the Tender Team in preparing preliminary L1 schedules.
• Provide planning and scheduling support to Project Managers and Engineering teams.
• Travel to project sites/offices when required.
• Ensure planning activities comply with company QMS, quality procedures and standard practices.
• Perform other planning and scheduling activities assigned by management.
