Job summary

Pretium Enterprise Services (PES) is seeking an experienced Data & BI leader to define and drive the enterprise data roadmap from Bengaluru. The role calls for deep expertise in data warehousing, ETL, SQL and BI platforms, with strong cross-functional collaboration across business and technology teams.

You will work with Snowflake, DBT, Informatica, Fivetran, Looker and Power BI to build scalable data platforms.

Qualifications

• MBA or engineering degree required; 10–15 years in Data Engineering and BI solutions.
• Knowledge of Snowflake and ETL tools; Looker/Power BI preferred.
• Exposure to ML/AI technologies would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive the complete roadmap for Data & BI Solutions in collaboration with business and technology teams.
• Lead SQL development and data engineering initiatives.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, including CXOs.
• Promote Agile methodologies and deliver value across multiple projects.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

10+ yrs. overall in IT with experience in Data warehouse, ETL, BI projects is desired. Drive the complete roadmap for Data & BI Solutions working closely with business and technology teams. Expertise with SQL development is desired. Experience in ML/AI model development would be added advantage. Demonstrated ability to bring structure to ambiguous environments and relate well to people at all levels of the organization including CXOs. Ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them to non-technical stakeholders. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to get results through formal channels and informal networking within a matrix project organization. Strong and concise verbal presentation and written skills. Self-starter who is energetic, enthusiastic, adaptable and a customer-oriented team player. Practical experience in Agile methodologies is a must have. Expertise and passion for influencing, teaming, and delivering solutions in a highly complex and nebulous environment. Proven ability to set priorities across a complex program with multiple projects and drive for results. Ability to communicate effectively with senior IT and business leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL SKILLSETS

MBA and /or bachelor’s degree of Engineering is required. 10-15 years of experience in Data Engineering and Data & BI solutions Knowledge of Snowflake, ETL technologies like DBT, Informatica, Fivetran would be preferred. Knowledge of Business Intelligence technologies like Looker, Power BI etc would be preferred. Knowledge of Data Migration from RDBMS to Snowflake cloud data warehouse Knowledge of ML/AI technologies would be an added advantage.
