JD: Senior Techno-Functional / IT Solutions Leader Healthcare Experience

18+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the healthcare domain

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Techno-Functional professional with strong exposure to healthcare technology and enterprise IT solutions. The individual will be responsible for understanding business requirements, designing technology solutions, evaluating and shortlisting technology partners, and driving solution discussions with internal stakeholders and external partners.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of both business processes and technology, with hands-on exposure to healthcare applications, enterprise platforms, integrations, data Analytics platform, payments, CRM, HIS, RCM, Power BI or other MIS reporting tool and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure and cost-effective IT solutions.
• Work closely with business, operations, finance and other stakeholders to identify technology opportunities and pain points.
• Engage with technology partners, system integrators and solution providers for solutioning and implementation.
• Evaluate, assess and shortlist technology partners based on functional fit, technical capability, scalability, security, integration capabilities and commercial considerations.
• Prepare and review RFP/RFI/RFQ, solution proposals, technical evaluations and partner comparisons.
• Lead techno-functional discussions with partners and ensure proposed solutions align with business requirements.
• Evaluate existing IT applications and recommend enhancements, replacements or new technology solutions.
• Provide technology inputs for CRM, HIS, D365, POS, Payment Gateway, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Power PI etc. and other healthcare technology platforms.
• Understand system integrations, APIs, data flows and interoperability between healthcare and enterprise applications.
• Work with stakeholders to define functional requirements, solution architecture, implementation roadmap and success criteria.
• Ensure technology solutions comply with applicable data privacy, security and regulatory requirements, including DPDP Act requirements.
• Support technology implementation, UAT, deployment and post-implementation stabilization.
• Work with data and analytics teams to enable reporting, dashboards and management insights.
• Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and digital transformation.
• Manage multiple technology initiatives and coordinate with internal teams and external partners.

• Understanding of APIs, system integrations and application architecture.
• Understanding of databases, data flows and enterprise application ecosystems.
• Good understanding of cloud technologies and SaaS solutions would be an advantage.

• Experience in evaluating and managing technology partners/SIs.
• Experience in large-scale digital transformation or enterprise IT initiatives.
