Job Opportunity: Project Manager / Project Officer

Pahl India Foundation (PIF) invites applications for the position of Project Manager / Project Officer on a full-time basis, to be based in Guwahati, Assam. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact research and policy implementation in the region.

Eligibility:

Preference will be given to candidates who are residents of Assam.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Postgraduate degree in Economics, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing research-based, policy-focused, or livelihood consultancy servicesespecially for government-funded projects.
• Strong understanding of regional and development economics.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and coordinate with government and local institutions (PR/liaisoning skills).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Assamese is an asset.
• Flexibility to travel across the state and undertake temporary relocations within Assam, as required.
• Prior experience in fieldwork or state-level studies in Assam will be considered a strong advantage.

Remuneration:

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and industry standards.
