Job summary

Mobility Global seeks a Project Manager, Planning Solutions to oversee day-to-day planning, milestones, risks and reporting for assigned projects. You will maintain Jira/Confluence records and ensure consistent delivery discipline across the portfolio.

The role enables the Programme Delivery Manager to focus on broader strategy while collaborating with Product, Engineering, QA, Data Operations and commercial teams. Hybrid, overlapping UK/EU/US hours expected.

Role Summary

The Project Manager, Planning Solutions provides shared project-management capacity across the portfolio. The role owns day-to-day planning, milestones, risks, dependencies, actions and reporting for assigned projects and workstreams. The role creates consistent project-level delivery discipline and supplies accurate information into the wider programme and portfolio view. It enables the Programme Delivery Manager to focus on integrated programme and portfolio delivery rather than directly covering every project.

The position is based in Bangalore and requires sufficient overlap with UK and European business hours. Collaboration with US stakeholders may also be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Control Create and maintain practical project plans, milestones and delivery checkpoints. Track scope, owners, actions, decisions, risks, issues and dependencies. Keep project information current and reliable. Jira and Confluence Maintain accurate epics, tasks, owners, dates and status in Jira. Maintain project documentation, decisions and operating information in Confluence. Follow shared Planning Solutions delivery standards.
• Governance and Reporting Run routine project meetings and follow-up. Prepare concise project status for stakeholders and programme reporting. Escalate risks, blockers and decisions early with clear impact.
• Cross-functional Coordination Coordinate activity across Product, Engineering, QA, Data Operations, Research and commercial contributors. Ensure actions have named owners and agreed dates. Support testing, release readiness and sign-off activity.
• Process Improvement Identify practical ways to reduce manual administration and reporting. Use automation and AI tools appropriately to improve documentation and project visibility.

Required Qualifications

• Essential 3+ years of project management, delivery coordination or equivalent experience. Experience supporting software, data, analytics or technology projects. Strong planning, RAID, action and dependency management. Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence or comparable tools. Ability to coordinate contributors across different functions and locations. Clear, concise written and verbal communication. Strong organisation and attention to detail. Ability to own assigned projects with appropriate support from programme leadership.
• Highly Desirable Experience with agile software delivery. Experience coordinating testing or release-readiness activities. Experience in data, research, market intelligence or automotive products. Experience using automation or AI-assisted project tools.
