The candidate should manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations while maintaining strong relationships across geographies. Ideal candidates have a finance background,SAP implementation experience, and 10–12 years in F&A with 6–8 years in global PM roles.

Functional Role (Job Description)

This role is under Global Shared Services Finance to support our parent organization NTT DATA Inc., wherein the incumbent will be assigned to manage the delivery of key projects, ensuring that resources across the business stay focused and achieve NTT DATAs roadmap. Always ensuring that risks and dependencies are effectively managed in order to deliver on time and to an acceptable quality.

In order to be successful in this position the candidate should have a high level of enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with all levels of the organization.

Education Background

A bachelors or Masters degree in Finance

MBA in Finance with Project management (PMP, Prince2 etc.)

Work Experience

10 to 12 years in F&A with at least 6-8 years in relevant Project management exp in a Global environment working with teams across Geographies

Should have experience in System / ERP implementation preferably SAP implementation

1. Project Management Area

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

Define and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths across multiple initiatives. Ensure activities remain aligned with the overall Finance Transformation roadmap.

Cross-Project Integration

Coordinate dependencies between projects, systems, workstreams, and business units. Identify potential conflicts, overlaps, or sequencing issues early.

Stakeholder Management

Act as the central coordination point between Finance, IT Project Managers, Business Process Owners, System Integrators, Business Integrators, and other partners.

Governance & Reporting

Establish consistent project governance, prepare status reporting, organize project reviews/SteerCos, and provide clear visibility on progress, risks, decisions, and required actions.

Risk & Issue Management

Maintain risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID). Drive mitigation plans, escalation, and resolution with the appropriate owners.

Scope & Change Management

Ensure project scope is clearly defined and controlled. Assess the impact of scope changes on timelines, resources, dependencies, costs, and other transformation initiatives.

Delivery Management

Track deliverables against agreed milestones and ensure that Business, IT, and implementation partners meet their commitments and quality expectations.

Partner Coordination

Coordinate System Integrators, Business Integrators, and other external partners; clarify responsibilities, monitor deliverables, and challenge delays or gaps.

IT / Business Alignment

Ensure IT delivery plans remain aligned with Finance requirements, process transformation objectives, and business readiness activities not only technical implementation timelines.

Resource & Capacity Coordination

Identify resource constraints across projects, highlight competing priorities, and support decisions on resource allocation and sequencing.

Decision Management

Identify decisions required, ensure appropriate information is available, assign decision owners, and track decisions through closure.

Business Readiness

Coordinate with process, data, testing, change, training and deployment teams to ensure the organization is ready for implementation and go-live.

Financial & Commercial Tracking

Where applicable, monitor project budgets, forecasts, partner spend, SOWs and changes to commercial commitments.

Quality & Standards

Ensure projects follow common Finance Transformation methodologies, templates, governance standards and quality expectations.

Executive Communication

Translate detailed project information into concise messages for senior management, highlighting what is on track, what requires attention and where decisions are needed

2. Other day to day tasks:

• Plan and execute other tasks and projects in the context of Group Finance Transformation team
• Create specific analysis, reports or periodic tasks established within the department.
