Carrier Hyderabad seeks a Project Manager - Embedded to lead a large, multi-disciplinary team across hardware, firmware, software and digital projects. You will oversee programs, drive strategic planning, and manage budgets and vendor relationships to deliver on-time results.

The role emphasizes value-stream thinking, governance via Stage Gate processes, and collaboration with product teams and customers to ensure high-quality outcomes. A university degree and relevant experience are required.

• Chair regular customer and Product Team meetings.
• Coordinate with internal and external resources.
• Ensure quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide status reports to stakeholders at various levels.
• Identify and mitigate issues and risks.
• Handle escalations and risk management.
• Apply processes to develop new products and services.

About the role

This position manages a large team of both experienced professionals and team leaders across functions, manages medium to large‑sized programs or multiple small programs. Monitors strategic planning efforts, presents progress reports and value‑stream strategy, recommends solutions for program problems, manages the P&L of programs and multiple vendors, and supports contract negotiation.

Role Responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating the actions of project teams to produce deliverables agreed upon with executive and/or functional management.
• Managing multiple hardware, firmware, software and/or digital NPI projects.
• Creating and managing project plans and reporting dashboards.
• Managing resource budgets, project scope, on time project delivery KPI and product quality.
• Leading regular customer & Product Team meetings.
• Working with internal and external resources.
• Quality assurance.
• Reporting project status at multiple levels.
• Issue and risk management/mitigation.
• Escalations management.
• Resource Management.
• Create and apply practices and processes to develop new products and/or services for the Company.
• Understanding, complying, and enforcing policies and procedures as outlined in the Stage Gate Process.

Education

• Requires advanced knowledge obtained through a University degree, combined with experience
• Practical to substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work
• University Degree or equivalent
