YDU JC Air Cond & Ref Inc.- Dubai is seeking a Project Manager – Applied (Chillers) in Mumbai to lead HVAC/chiller projects end-to-end. You will coordinate with customers, vendors, site teams and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery in line with contractual commitments.

The role requires 5–8 years of experience in project management for HVAC/chiller projects, with strong scheduling, cost monitoring and risk management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• PMP/Project Management certification an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage HVAC/chiller projects from initiation to closure.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules; monitor progress and baselines.

Project Manager – Applied (Chillers)

Location: Mumbai

Reporting To: Senior Project Manager – Applied Projects

Experience: 5–8 Years

Role Summary

The incumbent will be responsible for managing the execution of multiple HVAC and chiller projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery in line with customer requirements, contractual commitments, and company objectives. The role focuses on project planning, coordination, schedule management, commercial follow-up, and driving projects through defined toll gates from HOTO to closure while working closely with customers, vendors, site teams, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution & Coordination – Manage HVAC/chiller projects at various stages, ensure execution aligns with approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements, and coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors, factories, and internal teams.
• Schedule Management – Prepare and maintain project schedules, obtain customer approval for baselines during HOTO, monitor progress, initiate corrective actions for delays, and support toll gate movement.
• Commercial & Financial Management – Monitor project costs, committed costs, and revenue realization; support forecasted revenue, ensure timely invoicing, follow up on payments, and keep unbilled revenue within limits.
• Risk & Issue Management – Identify risks and implementation challenges early, maintain logs, escalate critical risks, and collaborate on mitigation and recovery plans.
• Customer Management – Serve as primary contact, maintain communication, address concerns, and coordinate internal support to meet expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Material & Resource Coordination – Coordinate procurement, logistics, factory, and service teams, track material availability, ensure installation readiness, and monitor resource deployment.
• Reporting & Governance – Update status, forecasts, and financial metrics, participate in review meetings, ensure compliance with project management processes, and support stage gate progress and closure.

Desired Skills & Competencies

Good understanding of HVAC systems, chillers, and applied projects; knowledge of project management fundamentals including Planning & Scheduling, Cost Monitoring, Risk Management, Quality Compliance, and Customer Management. Strong coordination, stakeholder management, multi‑project management, communication, negotiation, and proficiency in MS Project, Excel, ERP, and project tracking tools. Strong problem‑solving and follow‑up skills.
