Job summary

Prateek Group seeks a design engineer with 10-12 years of experience in Electrical, Plumbing and Fire protection systems for commercial and residential projects. The role is urgently based in Noida Sector 150, requiring strong coordination with architects and detailed cost estimation skills.

Candidate should hold a B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with proven capability to prepare tender estimates and read complex drawings for large-scale construction bids.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding and design knowledge of LV distribution, lighting and power circuits, fire alarm, data communication and CCTV systems.
• Consult and coordinate with Architect representative for specification and clarifications.
• Analyze documentation to assess cost, materials and labour.
• Prepare cost estimates for LV systems, HVAC and plumbing for competitive bids.
• Analyze blueprints and specs to prepare accurate material and labour estimates.
• Prepare Tender Check Estimates (TCE) including Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing quantities.
• Compile engineering documentation and perform calculations to establish standards and specifications.

Job description

• Thorough understanding and design knowledge of LV distribution, Lighting and power circuits, Fire alarm system, Telephone/Data System, Access control, PA system, CCTV, Cable management and Earthing & Lightning protection system etc.
• Consult and coordinate with Architect representative for specification / technical clarifications.
• Analyze documentation to asses cost, materials and labor.
• Performs overall cost estimates including low voltage systems (Data, Public Address, Fire Alarm, Intrusion Detection, CCTV, etc), HVAC system and plumbing and prepares highly competitive bids using Plan Swift and customized estimating software.
• Analyze blueprints, project documents and specifications to prepare accurate and efficient materials and labor estimates on all project stages and project related works.
• Prepares Tender Check Estimates (TCE) for contracts and bill of materials which includes Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing quantities, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Prepare and compile all engineering documentation and specifications. Performs detailed calculations to compute and establish construction and installation standards and specifications.
• Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical / ElectricalEngineering
