Qualifications

Role & responsibilities

• Manage the complete project lifecycle for 3D CAD to 2D drawing automation projects, from planning and execution through testing, validation and delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across CAD development, algorithm engineering, software development, testing and validation.
• Define project plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, timelines and resource requirements.
• Drive projects to ensure on-time, on-budget and high-quality delivery.
• Lead Agile project management activities including sprint planning, backlog management, project tracking and status reporting.
• Drive implementation and adoption of Azure DevOps (ADO) for project and engineering team management.
• Manage technology and business process improvement initiatives involving:
• DevOps and CI/CD
• Code obfuscation and IP protection
• Cloud migration
• Google Workspace / Google Drive to Microsoft Azure / SharePoint
• IT infrastructure and security
• Time tracking and productivity management
• Support development and implementation of compliance roadmaps for ISO 9001, ISO 27001, CMMC Level 2 and SOC 2.
• Coordinate compliance gap assessments, audit preparation and process documentation.
• Implement and manage time-tracking systems using tools such as ADO, MS Project, Toggl or Clockify.
• Conduct project risk assessments and establish mitigation plans.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering and Leadership to align project execution with business objectives.
• Prepare project dashboards, KPI reports, executive presentations and management updates using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Develop process flow diagrams, organizational charts and process documentation to improve operational efficiency.
• Mentor junior team members on project management practices, AI/CAD tools and compliance processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant Project Management experience in software development, AI/ML, CAD automation or engineering technology projects.
• Experience managing cross-functional technical teams and complex software/engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of project planning, execution, risk management, resource management and stakeholder management.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, sprint planning, backlog management and Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Experience in business process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge/experience in DevOps, CI/CD and cloud migration, particularly Microsoft Azure and SharePoint.
• Exposure to IT infrastructure, information security and IP protection/code obfuscation.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 27001, CMMC Level 2 and SOC 2 compliance frameworks.
• Experience with audit preparation, gap analysis and compliance process implementation.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exposure to CAD platforms such as CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks or AutoCAD is highly desirable.
• Experience with scripting or automation is an added advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, Scrum Master or equivalent Project Management certification.
• Experience in automotive engineering, automotive SaaS or CAD/CAE environments.
• Experience working with 3D CAD to 2D drawing conversion/automation.
• Experience managing AI/ML or engineering automation projects.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams or international clients.
