Job summary

WPP in India is seeking a governance, risk, compliance, or controls professional to strengthen the second line assurance for corporate platforms, ensuring integrity, controls, and audit-ready evidence. You will maintain governance artefacts, support AI governance and data-handling controls, and manage the agent registry view, while contributing to policy and standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated or audit-scoped environment; familiarity with AI governance frameworks or responsible AI practice; ServiceNow or comparable workflow tooling; prior WPP experience.
• Four to six years in governance, risk, compliance, audit or controls within a multinational organisation.
• Working understanding of technology risk and data-handling controls.
• Meticulous documentation and evidence discipline - this role is the audit trail.
• Independence of judgement: able to hold a line under delivery pressure and say not yet.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the governance evidence base - artefacts, decisions, approvals and audit trail across the governance stack.
• Support responsible AI and risk as a standing remit, including data-handling controls and acceptable-use guidance.
• Maintain the governance view of the agent registry: what is registered, what is running unregistered, and what needs review.
• Support drafting and publication of policy and standards, and feed control requirements into the pipeline early rather than late.
