Qualifications

  • Knowledge of project management principles, construction methods, and contracts.
  • PMP certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Lead overall construction and project execution from mobilization to handover.

  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigations.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of a premium hotel construction project in Siliguri. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering the project within defined timelines, budget, quality, and safety standards. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and construction project execution expertise, preferably in hospitality, commercial, or high-rise building projects.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
  • Lead the overall construction and project execution activities from mobilization to handover.
  • Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Project Monitoring & Control
  • Monitor project progress against approved schedules and budgets.
  • Identify project risks, delays, and bottlenecks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and quality standards.
Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the client, consultants, contractors, and management.
  • Lead project review meetings and present project updates to senior leadership.
  • Manage contractor performance and ensure alignment with project objectives.
Budget & Cost Management
  • Monitor project costs and ensure expenditure remains within approved budgets.
  • Review contractor bills, BOQs, variations, and change orders.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality and timelines.
Quality & Safety Management
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, construction best practices, and project specifications.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with statutory and HSE regulations.
  • Conduct periodic site inspections and quality audits.
  • Lead and mentor site engineers, planning teams, quantity surveyors, and contractors.
  • Foster collaboration among project stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Drive performance, accountability, and teamwork across project functions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or equivalent.
  • PMP/Project Management certification will be an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in hotel, hospitality, commercial, mixed-use, or large-scale building construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, construction methodologies, and contract administration.
Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction project management.
  • At least 3-5 years in a Project Manager role handling large hospitality or commercial projects.
  • Experience managing projects from inception through completion and handover.
