Job summary

Lubrizol Corporation seeks an experienced Project Manager to drive top-priority initiatives across the business, delivering on scope, time, and budget. You will partner with commercial, operations, R&D, IT, supply chain, and procurement teams to ensure successful outcomes.

This role requires 5–7 years in a multinational setting, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and PMP certification. Strong leadership, communication, and risk-management skills are essential for steering complex programs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee top priority projects across Lubrizol businesses, ensuring successful execution and completion within defined timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams spanning commercial, operations, R&D, information technology, supply chain, procurement etc. to drive project success.
• Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Coordinate project activities, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving issues and challenges as they arise.
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and senior management, ensuring effective communication across the organization.
• Foster a collaborative and results-oriented project management culture within the organization.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and project management methodologies to continuously improve project delivery.
• Complete any project management training provided
• Collaborate on best practices with fellow project managers.

Educational Qualifications, and Work Experience

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience within a multinational business environment
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or technical field required
• Project management certifications (such as PMP)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing projects / business initiatives, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving
• Person should be able understand the strategy and be able to implement the strategy as standalone project
• Proven track record in successfully managing complex projects in a cross-functional environment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams towards achieving project objectives.

Techno-functional Skills:

• Experience with project planning tools (Planview, ServiceNow PPM, MS Project)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• PMP or similar certifications

Required Operative Skills:

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience within a multinational business environment
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing projects / business initiatives, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving
• Person should be able understand the strategy and be able to implement the strategy as standalone project
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams towards achieving project objectives.
