VACANCY FOR PROJECT MANAGER

Join us as Project Manager to handle and deliver projects with medium to high complexity & size as per the agreed gross margin, DOT and quality for one or more application areas. The complexity of a project is dependent on the newness and complexity of the involved process/es and the level of customer/consultant requirements. Keep and improve good relations with the customers.

The position / About the Job:

The Project Manager is responsible for:

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Manage project development from beginning to end, following the 6 Basics and living up to the vision of ‘World Class Project Management’.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables based on the agreed contract.
• Estimate resources needed to achieve project goals.
• Develop a project plan, schedule, and monitor timelines/milestones.
• Develop communication documents and deliver progress reports.
• Proactively manage changes, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Coordinate best practices/tools for effective project execution and management.
• Estimate and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes.
• Coordinate with departments for smooth project execution.
• Ensure external contractors complete activities as per the agreed contract.
• Set and manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders.
• Motivate and supervise project team members and influence them to achieve project timelines.
• Attend meetings with customers, consultants, and external suppliers.
• Coordinate for effective project closure and handover.

Qualifications

• Chemical/Mechanical/Production graduate engineer with relevant experience in Project Management within the EPC industry.

Knowledge, Technical Skills, and Experience

• Good knowledge of project management related to Process industries and understanding of engineering codes & standards.
• MS Office, MS Project, or other project management tools; certification in project management is desirable.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the relevant project execution industry.
