Job summary

Concord Nextstep Development in Pune, India is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead process automation projects. You will define scope, develop detailed plans, manage budgets and resources, and monitor milestones to ensure delivery within time and budget.

You will act as the main liaison with stakeholders, communicate progress clearly, manage contracts and risks, and drive cost control through the Supply Chain team while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• BE in Instrumentation/ Electrical/ Electronics/ ETC is required.
• Project Management qualifications preferred; PMP certification advantageous.
• Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
• Ensure project milestones are met and projects are executed within scope, time, and budget constraints.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify and address potential roadblocks.
• Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Act as the main point of contact for project updates, status reports, and issue resolution for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes in a clear and concise manner.
• Develop trust and manage customer relationships, ensuring a shared understanding of key issues among all parties.
• Manage contractual requirements to minimize and control exposure through timely responses and internal escalation.
• Control costs and maximize productivity through the implementation of effective methods, standard processes, and engagement with the Supply Chain team.

Educational Qualifications

Education: BE (Instrumentation/ Electrical/ Electronics/ETC). Tertiary qualifications in Project Management (preferred). Further education in management or project management (e.g., PMP certification) is advantageous.
