Job summary

SYSTRA India is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for the Mumbai Metro Line 10 & 12 to lead civil, systems and interface works. The role demands strong coordination across disciplines, rigorous planning, and a proven track record in metro or large infrastructure projects.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk, mentor the project team, ensure safety and quality, and interact with clients and authorities to obtain approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering
• 12-15 years of experience in project management
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills
• Ability to work in a culturally diverse organization
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, milestones, and schedules for civil, systems, and interface works.
• Prepare and manage the project plan, work program, and resource plan.
• Monitor progress, KPIs, and take corrective actions for delays or overruns.
• Lead coordination between disciplines to resolve interface issues.
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental norms on construction and system works.
• Manage budget, certifications, variation orders, and cost control.
• Handle contractual matters: correspondences, claims, EOT, changes, risks.
• Coordinate with client and authorities for approvals and inspections.
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Lead and mentor the project team and ensure performance.

Missions/Main Duties

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Monitor progress, track KPIs, and implement corrective actions for delays or cost overruns.
• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Lead coordination between civil, track, OHE, signaling, telecom, rolling stock, AFC, and stations disciplines to resolve interface issues.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Manage project budget, certifications, variation orders, and cost control in line with contract conditions.

Profile/Skills

• Education qualification - Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering
• Years of experience - 12-15 Years of experience in project management
• Prior experience requirement - Min 5-7 Years
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
• Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
• Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority
• Strong leadership skills, proven ability to lead a team effort & make independent decision and be a good troubleshooter.
