Job summary

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management to ensure quality deliverables.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to meet organizational objectives.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and resolve technical challenges.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver optimal engineering solutions.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare project reports, status updates, and presentations for senior management.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and team productivity.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Experience: 9-10 years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering and project management roles, with demonstrated expertise in handling complex projects.
• People Management: Proven experience leading and managing engineering teams, including mentoring, performance management, and team development.
• Vendor Management: Strong track record in vendor identification, evaluation, negotiation, and relationship management to ensure timely and quality project delivery.

Location: Candidates residing near STCB or willing to relocate are strongly preferred for operational convenience.
