Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Project Manager with 13+ years of experience in construction or project coordination, preferably in commercial interiors or real estate development. You will oversee QA/QC activities, prepare QMS documents, review QAPs, and manage material specifications from design to execution.

Role requires strong organization, coordination skills, and proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in civil engineering / construction management / architecture (or equivalent).
  • 13+ years of experience in construction or project coordination, preferably in commercial, corporate interiors, or real estate development projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, project schedules, and site coordination.
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD (added advantage).

Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance and Quality Control for all works related to project execution.
  • Preparation & Implementation of QMS documents and SOPs for construction activities.
  • Review of QAPs submitted by vendors/contractors and material specifications from design to execution.
  • Witness field and third-party laboratory tests; monitor inspections and dispatch clearance.
  • Prepare and review project handover documents; conduct site audits (process and product).
  • Conduct quality training and awareness for staff and workers.
  • Monthly quality reporting and deviation controls; identify rectification measures.

Quality Assurance and Quality Control - Material testing, Quality Document review, QAP Document Preparation and updation, QMS documentation, Contractor/Vendor evaluation, Internal Audits, Field inspection, Construction material source approval, witness of field as well as third party laboratory tests, NCR creation for defects and closure, Monitor third party inspections and dispatch clearance, Control on execution activities at Site - Execution and handover Stage

Job Description

Quality Assurance and Quality Control for all works related to Project execution:

  • Preparation & Implementation of QMS documents
  • SOP preparation for construction activities and implementation
  • Review of QAP's submitted by vendors/contractors
  • Preparation of detailed Material Specifications and implementation plans right from Design to Tendering to Execution Stage
  • Concrete Mix designs, Paver block mix design, etc.
  • Testing of raw materials to conform to specifications
  • Approval of RMC sources for concrete supply to projects and controlling them from time to time through various checks
  • Approval of various material sources such as, but not limited to, aggregates, steel, admixtures, cement, bitumen, etc.
  • Identify NCR and record at site
  • Suggest and approve rectification procedure
  • Contractor/vendor Evaluation
  • Site Audits (Process and product)
  • witness of field as well as third party laboratory tests
  • Monthly Quality Reporting, Standard Deviation Controls, rectification, and repair measure identifications, etc.
  • Conduct quality training and awareness to staff and worker
  • Project handing over document review and approval
  • Monitor third party inspections, review IR and Dispatch clearance
  • Construction material Source approval
  • Identify good and best practices for sites and implementation

About You:

Key Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Team-oriented with proactive follow-up and coordination abilities.
  • Knowledge of project documentation and tendering process.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, invoicing, and procurement procedures.

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to project management software (e.g., Primavera, Procore, Asana, or similar).
  • Experience working with multinational clients or corporate fit-out projects.
