Job summary

PwC in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned professional for the role of IN_Manager_Finance Transformation – R2R Functional SME. You will lead Record-to-Report activities, act as a functional anchor, and support shift-based operations during Pacific Time coverage.

Responsibilities include overseeing GL, journal processing, reconciliations, month-end close, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, and accruals. Prior experience in BlackLine is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6 to 9 years of experience in Record-to-Report (R2R) / General Accounting operations.
• Strong functional knowledge of general ledger, journal processing, reconciliations, month-end close, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, accruals and prepayments.

Responsibilities

• Act as the functional SME and shift lead for R2R operations during Pacific Time hours.
• Provide oversight and support across core R2R processes, including general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close.
• Manage and resolve process issues, exceptions, and escalations within the shift.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution and transition management.
• Leverage BlackLine knowledge to support reconciliation and close activities.

Job Description & Summary

We are looking for a seasoned :- Finance Transformation – R2R Functional SME Responsibilities: We are seeking a Shift Lead – R2R Functional SME to support Record-to-Report (R2R) operations during Pacific Time working hours. This role will serve as the primary functional anchor for R2R activities, ensuring smooth execution of accounting processes, issue resolution, stakeholder coordination, and operational governance during the designated shift. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in R2R / General Accounting processes, with the ability to lead shift operations, manage escalations, and support business continuity. Experience with BlackLine will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the functional SME and shift lead for R2R operations during Pacific Time hours
• Provide oversight and support across core R2R processes, including: general ledger accounting
• journal entries account reconciliations month-end and year-end close
• fixed assets intercompany accounting
• accruals and prepayments Monitor daily operations and ensure timely completion of shift deliverables Manage and resolve process issues, exceptions, and escalations within the shift Serve as the primary point of contact for business, controllership, and internal stakeholders during Pacific Time coverage Drive effective handover between shifts and ensure continuity of operations Review and validate critical transactions, reconciliations, and accounting outputs as needed Support month-end close activities and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as P2P, O2C, FP&A, IT, and ERP support teams for issue resolution Support transitions, process stabilization, and continuous improvement initiatives Leverage BlackLine knowledge, where applicable, to support reconciliation and close activities

Mandatory skill sets:
