Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Establish and grow the Project Management Academy.
• Evaluate competencies across delivery teams and identify capability gaps.
• Design, develop and deliver learning programs on PM methodologies, tools and practices.

• Conduct instructor-led, virtual and blended training sessions.
• Develop innovative learning interventions (PM forums, webinars, podcasts).

We are looking for an experienced Project Management Academy Lead to establish and drive our Project Management Academy initiative. This role will be responsible for assessing project management capabilities across the organization, designing and delivering learning programs, and building a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in project and program management along with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and capability development within the IT services industry.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the establishment, growth, and continuous improvement of the Project Management Academy.
• Evaluate project and program management competencies across delivery teams and identify capability improvement opportunities.
• Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive learning programs covering project management methodologies, frameworks, tools, and best practices.
• Create customized learning materials including presentations, case studies, practical exercises, simulations, and assessments.
• Conduct instructor-led training sessions, workshops, virtual learning programs, seminars, and knowledge-sharing forums.
• Develop innovative learning interventions such as PM Forums, PM Podcasts, webinars, and leadership discussions.
• Collaborate with Delivery, Quality, Learning & Development, Operations, and leadership teams to address project management skill gaps.
• Support promotion-linked learning programs and Skilling Led Fulfilment initiatives.
• Design and implement competency assessment frameworks and evaluation mechanisms.
• Work with external training partners and vendors to evaluate project management tools, certifications, and learning programs.
• Measure training effectiveness through assessments, participant feedback, business outcomes, and performance metrics.
• Create structured learning paths leveraging external learning platforms such as Udemy, Coursera, and edX.
• Provide one-on-one coaching, mentoring, and career guidance to project and program management professionals.

Expertise You’ll Bring:

• 15-20 years of experience in the IT industry with significant experience in Project and Program Management.
• Hands-on experience managing complex delivery engagements and large-scale programs.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and delivering project management training programs.
• Strong understanding of project management frameworks, methodologies, governance models, and best practices.
• Expertise in project planning, scheduling, tracking, monitoring, risk management, scope management, quality management, resource planning, procurement management, communication management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience assessing project management competencies and developing targeted capability-building initiatives.
• Ability to design customized learning journeys for various experience levels and organizational roles.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and instructional delivery skills.
• Experience creating blended learning programs using classroom, virtual, self-paced, and experiential learning approaches.
• Proficiency with learning management systems, e-learning platforms, and modern training tools.
• Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring project managers, program managers, and delivery leaders.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
