Job summary

Hitachi Energy Technology Services Private Limited in Chennai seeks a Project Lead Engineer - Electrical (Capacitor Bank) to drive customer orders from concept to delivery. You’ll interpret schematics, perform capacitor/filter calculations, and build BOMs in ERP, coordinating with design and project teams.

Requires 4–6 years in electrical design with LV/MV/HV capacitor experience, plus knowledge of IEEE/IEC standards and strong leadership and communication skills. Onsite role in Chennai, India.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience with a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of LV/MV/HV capacitors and filters.
• Familiarity with IEEE, IEC and international standards.
• ERP software proficiency is an advantage.
• Understanding manufacturing drawings and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical leader for PQP on customer orders and countries.
• Interpret circuit diagrams/schematics for customer orders.
• Perform capacitor and filter calculations and advise customers/design engineers.
• Review primary/secondary drawings and guide design engineers.
• Generate BOM in ERP for customer orders with stakeholders.
• Review 2D/3D drawings (Creo) before submission to customers.
• Support production and cross-functional teams on technical queries.
