Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• PMP/LEED (preferred)
• 20+ years in construction project management, with 5+ years in senior leadership managing large-scale infrastructure/real estate projects.
• Experience managing Airports projects in aviation/transport sector.

Purpose/Objective

• Head - Projects is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of all airside, terminal and landside projects.
• This role involves leading cross-functional project teams, ensuring compliance with project budgets, timelines, and quality standards, and delivering projects that align with the strategic goals of the airport's master plan.
• The role requires a strong focus on project management, stakeholder coordination, risk management, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities of Role

• Strategic Project Planning & Execution: Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of select large-scale airport infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with the airport’s master plan and business objectives.
• Identify and implement innovative project management methodologies and tools to enhance efficiency, mitigate risks, and optimize project outcomes.
• Establish and oversee project governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
• Develop and track key project performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and identify areas for improvement.
• Project Delivery & Execution: Manage end-to-end execution of airport construction, expansion, and modernization projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budget.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and government authorities, to facilitate seamless project execution.
• Oversee risk management initiatives, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks that could impact project delivery.
• Ensure adherence to high-quality construction standards, sustainability goals, and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Financial & Resource Management: Prepare detailed project budgets, monitor ongoing costs, and ensure financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project CAPEX, OPEX and resource allocation to maintain profitability.
• Provide accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, ensuring transparency and accountability in project spending.
• Conduct financial performance analysis and post-project evaluations to ensure projects meet financial goals and ROI targets.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for key internal stakeholders, including senior management, legal, compliance, finance, and operations teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, developers, contractors, government agencies, and regulatory bodies.
• Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met, fostering a cohesive and efficient work environment.
• Work closely with the marketing and leasing teams to ensure alignment between development plans and commercial strategies.
• Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental, safety, zoning, and construction codes.
• Oversee the permitting and licensing process for each project, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to address potential issues that could impact project timelines, costs, or quality.
• Lead efforts in compliance with sustainability and environmental standards, minimizing environmental impact during project execution.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of project managers, engineers, and technical staff.

Qualifications and Experience
