Job summary

Biofics in Surat is seeking an experienced Project Head to lead end-to-end CBG EPC project execution across India, from planning to commissioning and handover. You will oversee timelines, budgets, safety, quality, and multi-disciplinary teams across sites.

The role requires coordinating with clients and operators, managing suppliers, and ensuring adherence to PESO and pollution-control requirements, while delivering plants on schedule and within budget. Extensive site travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in CBG/Biogas EPC project execution.
• Hands-on plant commissioning and performance testing.
• Supervising civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation works.
• Strong project planning, scheduling and cost control skills.
• Team leadership across multi-site projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution from DPR handover to commissioning and handover.
• Manage project teams, contractors, vendors and procurement.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and quality to meet contract outputs.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders for approvals and sign-offs.
• Ensure HSE compliance and statutory approvals (PESO, pollution control).

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Head to lead end-to-end execution of CBG EPC projects across India, from project planning to commissioning and final handover. The candidate will be responsible for project timelines, budgets, quality, safety, team management, and successful plant commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple CBG EPC projects from design/DPR handover to commissioning and final client sign-off.
• Manage civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation activities across project sites.
• Prepare project schedules, allocate resources, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion within budget.
• Lead plant commissioning, performance testing, troubleshooting, and achievement of contractual output requirements.
• Manage project managers, engineers, contractors, vendors, and procurement coordination.
• Monitor project costs, BOQs, contracts, material availability, and contractor performance.
• Ensure quality standards, HSE compliance, and applicable statutory approvals, including PESO and pollution control requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, OMCs (IOCL/BPCL/HPCL/GAIL), and internal departments for approvals and handover.
• Prepare project MIS reports, manage risks, and report progress to senior management.

Preferred Industry Experience

CBG/Biogas, Renewable Energy, Waste-to-Energy, EPC, Process Plants, or Oil & Gas.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should have strong technical and project management experience, with a proven ability to manage multiple EPC projects and deliver plants safely, within budget, and on schedule. Hands-on CBG/Biogas commissioning experience will be preferred.
