Role & responsibilities
- The Project Finance Controller will be supporting the Project teams for assigned set of Projects based at Sites and/or at Regional Offices to execute the projects as per the execution strategy and maintain project on time and within the budget.
- End-to-end responsible from finance for set of projects under overview, i.e. Profit and Loss account, Balance Sheet, and Cash flows.
- Provide functional expertise and active support to Business on day-to-day basis to ensure smooth project operations with focus on efficiency and timeliness. Manage internal stakeholders relations.
- Develop and drive regular financial reviews with the individual project teams covering all aspects, ensure accountable connection between project operations and financials.
- Owns and follows up on actions items to liquidate sticky items on Balance Sheet of the Projects.
- Challenges Project team members on assumptions, and strategies impacting financials. Generates what if scenarios and works with project teams to evaluate feasibility.
- Provide and communicate all financial data in a transparent manner, attends project and management reviews, as required.
- Provide regular status reporting, preparations of AOPs, monthly forecasts, other data requests for the set of projects within the timelines and with high quality.
- Develop improvement actions for optimization of working capital deployed on the projects.
- Read the customer contracts and be aware of all financial and commercial conditions on the contract.
- Provides contractually required customer reporting and is able to communicate directly with customers on financial matters.
- Responsible for understanding and review of cost forecasts / CTCs on monthly/quarterly basis. Uses cost analysis, compares with current scope, progress as well as previous forecasts.
- Proactively, highlight risk and opportunities on the project financials and lead and/or support in mitigating the risks and capitalizing on the opportunities. Follows up on the action items.
- Ensure core finance activities for the set of projects are complying to approved finance policies and procedures.
- Responsible for supporting SBU Business Controlling and SBU Finance Head in closure of audits, regulatory compliances requirements and management reporting etc. in a timely manner.
- Support change order analysis.
- Support claim preparations.

- The desired profile is preferably from Project industries not necessarily infrastructure.
