Job summary

Johnson Controls in Chennai seeks a Project Engineer – ELV / IBMS to support execution of ELV projects across Chennai. The candidate should have hands-on experience in IBMS, CCTV systems, and ELV project delivery, with ability to coordinate on-site activities and ensure timely completion.

The role is contractual (CWR) with opportunities to work with cross-functional teams, manage installation, testing, commissioning, and documentation.

• Support documentation, BOQs, drawings, and technical submissions.
• Troubleshoot on-site technical issues and ensure smooth execution.

• Handle systems including CCTV, Access Control (if applicable), and other ELV services.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and project timelines.
• Support documentation, BOQs, drawings, and technical submissions.
• Troubleshoot on-site technical issues and ensure smooth execution.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in IBMS / ELV project execution.
• Strong exposure to CCTV systems and ELV solutions.
• Good understanding of site execution, installation practices, and commissioning.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of ELV standards and integration will be preferred.

Education

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation or related field.
