Job summary

Johnson Controls in Bengaluru is seeking a motivated Project Engineer - IBMS to support the execution and delivery of building automation projects.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in IBMS project execution, project management, installation, testing, commissioning, and stakeholder coordination.

You will work with customers, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery, compliance with specs, and successful handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS).

Responsibilities

• Execute IBMS projects from initiation through commissioning and project closure.
• Coordinate installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of IBMS systems.
• Manage project schedules, site activities, and resource planning to ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as required.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Review engineering drawings, control schematics, and technical documentation.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, commissioning reports, and handover documents.
• Support integration of systems including HVAC, Fire Alarm, Access Control, CCTV, Lighting Control, Energy Management Systems, and Building Automation Systems.
• Attend client meetings and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure smooth project handover and customer satisfaction.
