Job summary

SYSTRA India seeks an experienced Project Director (Expat) to lead bid-driven metro rail projects. The role requires extensive rail sector leadership, with exposure to metro/rapid transit/high-speed initiatives, and accountability for delivering complex engineering and project management objectives.

The ideal candidate has a minimum 25 years in railway sectors, including at least 10 years in Metro/RRTS/High Speed environments, and is ready to work on a challenging, high-profile national program.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 25 years of experience in railway or railway-related industry.
• At least 10 years in Metro/RRTS/High Speed projects.
• Expat position; willingness to relocate for bidding Metro Rail projects.

Responsibilities

• Actively involved in project execution.
• Attend all meetings/inspections conducted by client.
• Monitor progress of the works.

Currently, we are bidding for Metro Rail projects across India. The position of Project Director (Expat) is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties

• The Project Director must be involved actively in the project execution.
• He will be required to attend all meetings/inspections conducted by client.
• Responsible for monitoring the progress of the works.

Profile/Skills

Minimum Criteria

Should be a Graduate in Civil Engineering or related.

Must have minimum 25 years of

Experience in railway or railway related industry, out of which minimum 10 years in Metro/RRTS/High Speed unless otherwise mentioned
