A leading engineering firm is seeking a Project Coordinator – Substation to oversee project execution for oil and gas substations. The ideal candidate will manage vendor deliverables and ensure alignment with project specifications and timelines. This role requires 8-10 years of experience in HV cable projects and a solid grasp of MR/TBE workflows. Candidates must be prepared to travel to Qatar as necessary.

Qualifications

Overview

The Project Coordinator – Substation (Oil & Gas) serves as the central liaison among engineering, procurement, vendors, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution. This role oversees the alignment of Material Requisitions (MR), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), vendor deliverables, and site activities with project specifications, timelines, and Client standards. Effective communication and prompt issue resolution across stakeholders are key to the role’s success.

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or Project Management (or equivalent).
• 8–10 years of experience coordinating substation and HV cable projects (132kV+).
• Solid understanding of MR/TBE workflows, vendor management, and full-cycle execution.
• Working knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards and QatarEnergy/Kahramaa protocols.
• Flexibility to travel to Qatar based on project needs.
