Job summary

Vecmocon Technologies Pvt Ltd. in India is seeking a hands-on Operations Associate to oversee vendor-site manpower, track attendance and productivity, and ensure alignment with the production plan.

You will identify gaps, coordinate corrective actions, and manage stock across BOM components and materials. Strong communication in Hindi/English and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Willing to work hands-on on a vendor shop floor.
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills to chase people and close loops.
• Proficient in MS Excel/Google Sheets for trackers and basic reporting.
• Detail-oriented and organized; can count stock accurately.
• Good communication in Hindi and English; liaise with vendor teams.
• Willing to travel between vendor sites; two-wheeler licence a plus.
• Familiarity with EV / battery / energy hardware.
• Basic understanding of BOM, procurement and production flow.
• Real ownership of a live, large-scale deployment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manpower at the vendor site; track attendance, daily output, and productivity against the plan.
• Flag shortfalls, idle time, or skill gaps early and coordinate corrective action with vendor supervisor.
• Track quality of work against Vecmocon’s specs; elevate deviations and rework immediately.
• Coordinate between vendor floor teams and the Vecmocon project team to keep schedules on track.
• Track inventory at the vendor site — raw material, BOM components, PCBs, harnesses, and mechanical parts.
• Reconcile physical stock with the tracker; prevent stockouts and pilferage.
• Run on-ground checks, take photos/evidence where needed, and keep a clean paper trail.
• Support ad-hoc coordination tasks across logistics, procurement, and dispatch as required.

• Reconcile physical stock with the tracker; prevent stockouts and pilferage.
• Run on‑ground checks, take photos/evidence where needed, and keep a clean paper trail.
• Support ad‑hoc coordination tasks across logistics, procurement, and dispatch as the program demands.

REQUIREMENTS

• Comfortable spending the day on a vendor shop floor – hands‑on, field‑first, not a desk role.
• Strong coordination and follow‑up skills; able to chase people and close loops.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets for trackers and basic reporting.
• Detail‑oriented and organized – can count stock accurately and keep numbers clean.
• Good communication in Hindi and English; able to deal with vendor floor teams and the internal team.
• Willing to travel between vendor sites as assigned; two‑wheeler / driving license a plus.
• Familiarity with EV / battery / energy hardware.
• Basic understanding of BOM, procurement, and production flow.
• Real ownership of a live, large‑scale deployment – not shadow work.
