Job summary

Worley is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join our team for engineering and construction projects across metals, minerals and energy sectors. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, cost control and EVM to support client deliveries.

The ideal candidate holds an Engineering degree with 5–10 years experience in project controls within a consultancy or technical services setting, and is proficient in Primavera and MS Project. Some travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate engineers with 5 to 10 years of experience in Project Control departments of a consultancy or technical services context.
• Strong understanding of engineering or construction interdependencies (EPC/PMC/EPCM).
• Experience with cost breakdown structures, cash flow, and progress measurement norms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project controls activities for EPC/PMC projects in a consultancy/industrial context.
• Support planning, scheduling, cost control and earned value management tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.

Graduate engineers with 5 to 10 years of experience in Project Control department of a consultancy organization and/or technical services department of a Metal / Mineral / Chemical Processing plant

Domain Expert / Specialist in the field of Engineering or in Construction - handling EPC / LSTK / PMC / EPCMproject. Having overall knowledge of interdependencies betweenprojectphases.

Good understanding of Workflow Process, Execution sequences, inter-relations of Activities, activity durations, WBS. Good understanding of Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS), Cost Codes, Cash Flow is added advantage.

Hands on experience & sound knowledge of usingPlanning/Scheduling Tools likePrimavera, MS Project (is MUST),Microsoft Office applications & Techniques.

Good understanding of Progress Measurement Norms, progress measurement trend Curves (S-Curve) & forecasting by earned value method (EVM), Resource Planning, Productivity.

Working experience in Mining, Metal and Minerals (is MUST), Oil & Gas Industry.

Preferred working knowledge in ECOsys or any other inhouse progress measurement tools.

High on initiative & Drive.

About You

• A degree engineering from a reputed university.
• Total 5 to 10 years of experience in Engineering and Design, preferably with engineering consultants/contractors or from client's side.
• Good Presentation Skills.
• Good spoken and written English language skills, communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Mention any professional affiliations/certifications.
• Should be open for short travel and deputation to sites/ Overseas Offices where required.
• Mention near term mobility readiness.
