ZealGrit is seeking a on-site Health Education Facilitator to deliver adolescent health training in government schools in Bihar, with field visits and parent interactions.

The role requires fresh graduates or candidates with up to 3 years of experience, strong Hindi communication, and willingness to travel within rural Bihar. Female candidates are encouraged to apply; the job is full-time on-site with contract-based governance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work, Public Health, Nutrition, Rural Management or related field.
• Fresh graduates or 0–3 years experience in public health, adolescent health or community health projects.
• Strong communication in written and spoken Hindi.
• Attention to detail for data collection, documentation and reporting from the field.
• Passion for community mobilisation and ability to run group sessions and health awareness activities.

Responsabilités

• Conduct health education training sessions in government schools with adolescents, one-on-one and in groups.
• Perform regular home visits to students and interact with parents.
• Document field activities, observations and insights; prepare updates for stakeholders.
• Identify community needs related to adolescent health and contribute to program improvement.
• Support other programmatic activities as needed.

This is an on-site position with significant fieldwork requirements

Responsibilities

• Conduct health education training sessions in government schools with adolescents through one-on-one and in group discussions.
• Conduct regular home visits of the students and interact with their parents.
• Document field activities, observations, and insights, and prepare periodic updates for internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and understand community needs in relation to adolescent health, and contribute to continuous program improvement.
• Support other programmatic activities.

What we are looking for

• A degree in Social Work (BSW or MSW), Public Health, Nutrition, Rural Management, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in public health, adolescent health, skill-building education, or community health projects.
• Strong communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken Hindi.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accurate data collection, documentation, and reporting from the field.
• Passion for community mobilisation and experience or interest in facilitating group sessions and health awareness activities.
• Ability to engage effectively with diverse community groups and local stakeholders.
• Eagerness to learn, adaptable, and self-motivated, with a commitment to working on-site in Bihar and travelling within rural areas as required.

Remuneration
