Job summary

CSIR-CSMCRI Marine Algal Research Station invites applications for a project staff position. The work involves production of elite material of Kappaphycus alvarezii and its open-sea cultivation, with educational background in Botany, Marine Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Oceanography, Microbiology or Marine Science.

Candidates should have seaweed culture experience and be up to 35 years of age as per CSIR norms.

These positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. It would, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming absorption in CSIR- CSMCRI.

The engagement of a project staff in different projects either in the CSIR - Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar or different Laboratories/Institutes of CSIR taken together shall not exceed06years in any case. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar.
