Job summary

IQVIA India is seeking a capable database programmer to coordinate clinical systems design, development, and maintenance. The role focuses on data acquisition, data transfer, and handling blinded data for QA and regulatory compliance.

You will work with client teams and internal IT to implement new technologies, validate databases, and produce RMS reports. A strong grasp of SAS/SQL/Python and ICH-GCP standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, life sciences, or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• Working knowledge of relational databases and data management technologies.
• Experience with data acquisition, data transfer, and blinded data handling.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements (ICH-GCP/21 CFR Part 11).

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate database design, development, implementation, maintenance, and user support of clinical systems.
• Provide technical expertise with clients.
• Program, test, and document databases per standards and validation.
• Program database manipulation and data transfers for internal and external clients.
• May assist IT with new technologies, testing upgrades, and procedures.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions.
• Create/update reports on RMS as required.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet timelines and deliverables.
• Interact with corporate and CDM teams to set timelines and responsibilities.

Job Overview

• Plan and coordinate database design, development, implementation, maintenance, and user support of clinical systems.

• Good in working on Data Acquisition activities like creation of vendor specification, data transfer, handling blinded data, quality assessments.
• Program database manipulation and transfers of data for internal and external clients.

• May assist in developing, revising, and maintaining core operating procedures and working instructions.
• Good in creating/updating the program/report based on requirement on report management system (RMS).
