Job summary

IQVIA in India is seeking a Database Management Analyst for Clinical Data Management SAS Programming with 2 to 10 years of experience. Hybrid work model across locations in India.

The role focuses on data management, SAS programming, creating reports with ODS, and building macro-enabled pipelines to support clinical trials.

Candidates should have domain knowledge, strong communication, and proficiency in SAS, SQL, and macros.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a computer science or related discipline.
• Minimum two years of applications programming experience.
• Clinical/healthcare domain experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Work experience must be in clinical/healthcare domain.
• Experience in Clinical SAS Programming.
• Create SAS datasets from raw data for clinical trials.
• Develop reports using SAS Output Delivery System (ODS) including RTF, PDF, and HTML.
• Handle data import and data management tasks and create listings/reports as per customer needs.
• Write code with Base SAS, SAS procedures, or macros; use PROC PRINT, PROC FREQ, PROC MEANS, PROC TRANSPOSE and PROC SQL.

Job Overview

As Database Management Analyst your primary responsibilities are:-

• Good Clinical Domain knowledge with understanding of clinical phases.
• Work experience must be in clinical / healthcare domain.
• Experience in Clinical SAS Programming
• Experience in Data Import Programming using SAS.
• SAS Output Delivery system (ODS) for generating reports in specific output formats like RTF, PDF, and HTML.
• Handling missing values, Reading Raw data files, creating data structures.
• Handling programming errors, Accessing and Managing data, Appending, Concatenating of SAS data sets.
• Comprehensively prepared reports using SAS report generating
• Procedures like PROC PRINT, PROC FREQ, PROC MEANS, PROC TRANSPOSE and PROC SQL.
• Well versed with coding in Macros and SQL.
• Create SAS datasets of clinical data from raw data.
• Create status and efficacy datasets; create project specific macros and formats.
• Load client data from other platforms; prepare data to be sent to clients.
• Create listings and Custom reports as per customer requirement.
• Knowledge on Vendor Import programmer
• Strong Technical knowledge on SAS programming.
• SAS /BASE, SAS/Advance SAS, SAS/ Macros, SAS/SQL & SAS/SAS Grid knowledge is required.
• Code is to be written using Base SAS programs, SAS procedures, or standardized macros.
• Good Communication skill

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or related discipline Req
• Incumbent possesses and has demonstrated basic knowledge of systems and programming with a minimum of two (2) years of applications programming experience Req
• As an alternative to the experience requirements listed above, possesses sufficient specialized Information Technology experience to result in a specific Technology Experience Ratio of 25- 50%
