The Opportunity

This role offers the opportunity to shape an evidence-informed advocacy agenda grounded in workers' lives. You will identify recurring problems through field engagement, develop focused research, and translate findings into practical recommendations and sustained dialogue with government, employers, and civil society. • Partnerships and Collective Action: Develop purposeful collaborations with worker groups, trade unions, civil society organisations, researchers, and academic institutions. Convene dialogues and joint initiatives with clear objectives and follow-through.

  • Communication and Representation: Communicate findings clearly for different audiences and represent the organization in relevant consultations and networks. Work with communications colleagues to bring worker perspectives into public discussion responsibly.

  • Field Connections and Organisational Learning: Maintain regular contact with workers and field teams in Ahmedabad and relevant Gujarat locations. Support colleagues to integrate research and advocacy into programme work, document learning, and report on progress and outcomes.
