Job summary

Uber’s Community Operations team is seeking a Program Specialist IV to lead high-visibility global projects and mentor other PMs. You will navigate senior stakeholders across time zones, translate complex requests into focused plans, and drive outcomes with ownership and empathy.

In this role you’ll shape how the support engine scales, ensure deliverables stay on schedule, and build cross-functional partnerships across disciplines.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in project management or program operations in a high-stakes, fast-moving environment.
• Proficiency in advanced project management frameworks and global coordination tools.
• Proven proficiency in problem-solving, collaboration, and stakeholder management at a global or cross-site level.
• Advanced organizational, planning, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to connect project performance to business metrics.

• Lead and support large, high-visibility, or global projects with minimal guidance, ensuring we build with both urgency and care at a massive scale.
• Navigate and manage complex global stakeholder relationships, earning trust fast and aligning diverse teams on shared outcomes.
• Ensure all deliverables remain on schedule and meet core business objectives, even as priorities and environmental constraints evolve.
• Perform new business intakes and structure unstructured requests into focused, high-impact project plans with clear milestones.
• Identify patterns in operational friction and implement global solutions that improve the way we support our community.
• Train and mentor other Program Specialists and PMs, sharing knowledge and building a high-performing team that can navigate challenge with heart.
• Collaborate across disciplines to resolve tension and unblock global projects, leading through influence and sound judgement.
