The role focuses on deploying AI-enabled health solutions across state facilities, coordinating with districts and officials, and building capacity among healthcare workers through field workshops and training sessions.

Qualifications

• Experience in public health, especially within government health systems.
• Digital health and AI initiative exposure is advantageous.
• Ground realities of MNCH, TB, NCDs, IDSP, NHM explored.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with state program teams to support deployment of AI-enabled solutions.
• Provide technical and operational support for smooth implementation across facilities and districts.
• Coordinate with government officials, internal teams, and stakeholders for project execution.
• Monitor and evaluate by tracking indicators, analyzing data, and reporting insights.
• Support training and capacity building of healthcare workers through workshops and field work.
• Field-level troubleshooting and timely resolution of implementation challenges.
• Strengthen scalable digital health ecosystems and integration of AI tools into routine systems.
• Document project progress, outcomes, challenges, and key learnings.
• Willingness to travel within and outside the state as required.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.

Wadhwani AI is a non-profit institute building and deploying applied AI solutions to solve critical issues in public health, agriculture, education, and urban development in underserved communities in the global south. Job Description

• Collaborate with state program teams to support deployment of AI-enabled solutions.
• Provide technical and operational support for smooth implementation across facilities and districts of the state.
• Coordinate with government officials, internal teams, and stakeholders for effective project execution and issue resolution.
• Manage monitoring and evaluation by tracking performance indicators, analyzing data, and preparing periodic reports and insights.
• Support training and capacity building of healthcare workers through workshops and on-ground hand holding.
• Provide field-level troubleshooting and ensure timely resolution of implementation challenges.
• Contribute to strengthening scalable digital health ecosystems and integration of AI tools into routine systems.
• Document project progress, outcomes, challenges, and key learnings.
• Willingness to travel within and outside the state as required.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the reporting manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any field, complemented by a Master’s in Public Health (MPH), Health Management, or Community Medicine.
• 2–8 years of experience in public health, particularly within government health systems, with a focus on digital health and AI initiatives.
• Deep understanding of ground realities and implementation challenges in areas such as MNCH, TB, NCDs, IDSP, CPHC, and Quality of Care.
• Prior experience in MNCH and TB–HIV programs is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of the Indian healthcare landscape, particularly the Ayushman Bharat initiative and National Health Mission (NHM) strategies.
