About the Role

The Assistant Program Manager will support the Finance, Compliance, Sponsorships, and Events functions of the India Sanitation Coalition, managing financial documentation, audit and compliance coordination, sponsorship management, and the planning and execution of the India Sanitation Conclave. Working closely with internal teams, sponsors, development partners, and auditors, the role ensures efficient programme delivery, regulatory compliance, and effective stakeholder coordination.

Education
  • B.Com/M.Com or other relevant qualification in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Foundation or CSR sector
  • Experience in building revenue through sponsorships and donations
  • Experience in finance and stakeholder management
Key Responsibilities
Sponsorship & Partnership Management
  • Lead sponsorships for ISC by identifying, approaching, and securing new sponsors.
  • Build, maintain, and regularly update the sponsorship database while expanding outreach to prospective corporate, CSR, and philanthropic partners.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective sponsors to ensure long-term engagement.
  • Prepare sponsorship proposals, pitch decks, invoices, and other sponsorship-related documentation.
  • Manage the complete sponsorship cycle, including sponsor commitments, deliverables, branding, payment schedules, and fulfilment of sponsorship benefits in coordination with internal teams.
  • Lead the planning and execution of sessions for the India Sanitation Conclave and other ISC events, including programme design, stakeholder engagement, speaker coordination, and end-to-end session management.
Finance & Compliance
  • Manage financial and compliance documentation, including invoices, utilisation certificates, agreements, purchase orders, and other supporting records as required by Head Finance & Compliance.
  • Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets, maintain accurate financial records, and support the preparation of financial reports and fund utilisation statements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal approval processes and statutory requirements by maintaining complete documentation and supporting internal and external audits, including the timely closure of audits.
Coordination & Administration
  • Liaise with FICCI Finance & Accounts teams, sponsors, auditors, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings, maintain project documentation, track action points, and ensure timely follow-up on approvals, deliverables, and stakeholder commitments.
