Job summary

Anaplan Inc is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead data and analytics initiatives across the organization. You will oversee the full program lifecycle, align data solutions with business objectives, and drive data-driven decision making using modern cloud and BI tools.

You will collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and business leaders to define roadmaps, KPIs, and governance, ensuring successful, on-time delivery while optimizing resources and processes.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Program Manager to lead our Data & Analytics initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional data projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire program lifecycle, from initial conception to final deployment, ensuring that our data solutions align with business objectives and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work in a dynamic environment that leverages cutting-edge technologies, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Databricks, Tableau, and Anaplan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale data and analytics programs, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all program-related communications, effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to executive leadership, to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and business leaders to define the program roadmap, strategy, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for our data and analytics initiatives.
• Facilitate seamless collaboration between various teams, including data engineering, data science, business intelligence, and IT, to ensure cohesive and integrated project execution.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, developing contingency plans to ensure program success.
• Manage program resources, including budget, personnel, and technology, to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement in our program management processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our data and analytics delivery.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in program management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex, technical projects.
• Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, agile environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working in a data-centric environment with a strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and business intelligence concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as BigQuery and Databricks for data engineering and machine learning.
• Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Tableau, for creating insightful and actionable dashboards.
• Knowledge of enterprise performance management solutions like Anaplan for business planning and modeling.
• PMP, Agile, or other relevant project management certifications.
