Job summary

NationsBenefits, LLC is seeking a Program Manager/Scrum Master to guide agile teams in a fast-paced insurance-benefits platform modernization effort. You will drive Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and mentor teams toward best practices and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering Leaders, and Stakeholders to align delivery with business goals, optimize processes, and ensure high-quality product delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of experience in IT industry.
• Certified Scrum Master with a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience.
• Very good understanding of Business as well as technical terminologies.
• Proven experience as a Program Manager or similar role in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum Practices: Lead daily stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practices.
• Mentor and train team members in Agile methodologies and Scrum best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
• Coordinate cross-project activities, resources, and dependencies.
• Monitor and report on program progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Ensure program and project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Identify and assess risks associated with the program and develop mitigation strategies.
• Oversee resource planning across multiple projects.
• Ensure that resources are effectively allocated and utilized.
• Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to provide project updates, solicit feedback, and resolve issues.
• Ability to influence, communicate effective plans, and build trust among cross-functional engineering teams and leaders.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on program status and milestones to Leadership.

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and build strong relationships.
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software like JIRA, Azure DevOps .. etc
• A Problem‑Solving mindset and ability to work in matrixed organization.
