Job Description
Teaching and Curriculum Development:
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in Civil Engineering subjects.
- Design and revise course curricula to align with industry trends and academic standards.
- Mentor and supervise students in their academic pursuits.
Research and Scholarly Activity:
- Conduct innovative research in Civil Engineering , leading to publications in reputed journals and conferences.
- Secure external research funding and collaborate with industry partners to address contemporary challenges.
- Supervise research projects and guide students in their research endeavors.
Academic Leadership and Administration:
- Provide leadership in the development and enhancement of academic programs within the department.
- Participate in academic committees and contribute to institutional governance.
- Mentor junior faculty members and support their professional growth.
Community Engagement and Outreach:
- Engage in outreach activities to promote Civil Engineering education and research to the broader community.
- Foster collaborations with other academic institutions, industry partners, and professional bodies.
- Contribute to the advancement of the field through participation in conferences, workshops, and seminars.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 10 years of teaching and research experience in higher education including 03 years of experience as Associate Professor, with significant contributions to the field.
- Demonstrated leadership in academic and research activities, including a minimum of 10 research publications in SCI/ UGC/ AICTE approved journals.
- Experience in guiding and mentoring students and junior faculty members.
- Proven ability to secure research grants and foster interdisciplinary collaborations.
