Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognised institution.
• A minimum of 10 years of teaching and research in higher education including 3 years as Associate Professor.
• Demonstrated record of at least 10 research publications in SCI/UGC/AICTE approved journals.
• Experience mentoring students and junior faculty members.
• Proven ability to secure research grants and foster interdisciplinary collaborations.

Job Description

Teaching and Curriculum Development:

• Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in Civil Engineering subjects.
• Design and revise course curricula to align with industry trends and academic standards.
• Mentor and supervise students in their academic pursuits.

Research and Scholarly Activity:

• Conduct innovative research in Civil Engineering , leading to publications in reputed journals and conferences.
• Secure external research funding and collaborate with industry partners to address contemporary challenges.
• Supervise research projects and guide students in their research endeavors.

Academic Leadership and Administration:

• Provide leadership in the development and enhancement of academic programs within the department.
• Participate in academic committees and contribute to institutional governance.
• Mentor junior faculty members and support their professional growth.

Community Engagement and Outreach:

• Engage in outreach activities to promote Civil Engineering education and research to the broader community.
• Foster collaborations with other academic institutions, industry partners, and professional bodies.
• Contribute to the advancement of the field through participation in conferences, workshops, and seminars.

Requirements

• A Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of 10 years of teaching and research experience in higher education including 03 years of experience as Associate Professor, with significant contributions to the field.
• Demonstrated leadership in academic and research activities, including a minimum of 10 research publications in SCI/ UGC/ AICTE approved journals.
• Experience in guiding and mentoring students and junior faculty members.
