MIET invites applications for senior academic roles in Computer Science & Engineering. The candidate will teach, design curricula, mentor postgraduates, and lead scholarly activity within the department.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science & Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 8 years of teaching and research in higher education, with at least 2 years post-PhD.
• Evidence of scholarly achievements including at least 6 publications in SCI/UGC/AICTE journals.
• Experience in curriculum development and course delivery at undergrad and postgrad levels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with commitment to student success.

Responsibilities

Teaching and Curriculum Development:

Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in Computer Science & Engineering subjects.

Design and revise course curricula to align with industry trends and academic standards.

Mentor and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in their academic pursuits.

Research and Scholarly Activity:

Conduct innovative research in Computer Science & Engineering, leading to publications in reputed journals and conferences.

Secure external research funding and collaborate with industry partners to address contemporary challenges.

Supervise research projects and guide students in their research endeavors.

Academic Leadership and Administration:

Provide leadership in the development and enhancement of academic programs within the department.

Participate in academic committees and contribute to institutional governance.

Mentor junior faculty members and support their professional growth.

Community Engagement and Outreach:

Engage in outreach activities to promote Computer Science & Engineering education and research to the broader community.

Foster collaborations with other academic institutions, industry partners, and professional bodies.

Contribute to the advancement of the field through participation in conferences, workshops, and seminars.

A Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.

A minimum of 08 years of teaching and research experience in higher education including 02 years of experience post PhD, with a focus on emerging trends in Computer Science & Engineering.

Evidence of scholarly achievements, including a minimum of 06 research publications in SCI/ UGC/ AICTE approved journals.

Experience in curriculum development and course delivery at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to academic excellence and student success.
