Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Law or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
• A distinguished record of scholarly publications in reputed journals/books and evidence of sustained research engagement.
• At least 10–15 years of teaching and research experience in a university or research institution.
• Demonstrated experience in academic leadership, mentoring students and faculty, and developing research programmes.
• Evidence of national or international academic engagement, including collaborations, projects, or policy contributions.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic leadership in teaching, research, and curriculum development.
• Mentor undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students, and guide early-career faculty in their research and teaching trajectories.
• Develop and lead research initiatives, funded projects, and collaborative academic networks at national and international levels.
• Contribute to institution‑building, including programme design, academic governance, and strategic initiatives of the School.
• Teach and develop courses in areas aligned with the School’s priorities, which may include Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence, Law and Public Policy, Technology, Regulation and Governance, International Law and Global Governance, Law, Development and Sustainability.
