Job summary

ExxonMobil is seeking a Products Technology Technologist - Associate in Bangalore to deliver technical support for ExxonMobil products at customer sites. You will develop technically sound solutions, work with customers and OEMs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on market needs and end-user requirements.

The role requires a plastic/polymer engineering background with 3–6 years of experience in film applications and strong communication skills, offering a path to professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Plastic, Polymers or Chemical engineering with 65%+ (CGPA acceptable).
• Strong polymer fundamentals, structure-property relationships, processing, conversion and application knowledge.
• 3–6 years in Polymer Industry, film application development (cast/BOPP) or polyolefin packaging film with technical services exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for safe and efficient ExxonMobil product usage at customer end.
• Develop technical solutions with ExxonMobil products to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain close relationships with customers and OEMs; collaborate with business teams to understand market needs and align end-user requirements.

What role you will play in our team

• Provide technical support for safe and efficient ExxonMobil product usage at customer end
• Develop technical solution with ExxonMobil product to meet customer requirements

• Maintain close relationship with customer and OEM's (Original equipment manufacturer).
• Collaborations with business team to build and maintain deep knowledge of market tends and to gain alignment with end user requirements.
• Identify and pursue opportunities generated from cross-functional market development teams.

About You

Skills and Qualification

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Plastic/ Polymers/ Chemical with score 65% and above (equivalent CGPA)
• Strong polymer fundamentals, structure property relationships, polymer processing, conversion and application knowledge
• 3-6 years of experience in Polymer Industry with polymer material manufacturer focused on film application development (cast/BOPP film) and providing technical services to customers or Polyolefin packaging film producer with significant exposure to downstream process, application development and providing technical services to customers
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Interpersonal and analytical skills
