Job summary

Super Micro Computer is seeking a Production Supervisor to optimize day-to-day manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee production, monitor workforce performance, and ensure quality and safety standards are met while controlling costs.

You will collaborate with Quality Control, Engineering, Materials, and Warehouse teams, track KPIs such as output and downtime, provide coaching, and drive lean initiatives like 5S and Kaizen to maintain auditable records and support

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a closely related field.
  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in a production supervisory role in electronics or server rack assembly environments.
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and lean manufacturing, esp. PCBA domain.
  • Proven leadership, interpersonal skills, and clear communication to foster teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficient, timely manufacturing of products.

  • Uphold quality standards, troubleshoot process issues, and ensure safety and policy compliance.

Job Summary

In a fast paced environment like production, the supervisor is an integral part of the manufacturing process. They must be competent and comprehend complex operations. In this role, you will be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs. The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible to oversee our production operations by ensuring that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficient and timely and efficient manufacturing of products.
  • Monitor workforce performance, effectively assign tasks, and ensure all productivity targets are consistently achieved.
  • Uphold stringent quality standards, proactively troubleshoot process issues, and ensure full adherence to company policies and safety regulations, fostering a secure and equitable work environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with Quality Control, Engineering, Materials, Warehouse and other departments to swiftly resolve production-related issues.
  • Track production KPIs such as output, downtime, yield, and scrap, implementing timely and effective corrective actions to maintain operational integrity and prevent recurrence.
  • Provide comprehensive training, coaching, and constructive performance feedback to production staff promoting continuous skill development and a culture of mutual respect.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives including 5S, Kaizen (Continuous Improvement), and other lean manufacturing practices.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation of all production reports, attendance records, and incident reports, maintaining auditable records and transparent processes.
  • Actively participate in internal and external audits, contributing to the maintenance of ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and other relevant regulatory compliance, with a focus on ethical business conduct and fair labor practices
Qualifications
  • A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a closely related field. Candidates with a strong background in electronics or server assembly are highly preferred.
  • Preferably 3-5 years of progressive experience in a production supervisory role, with specific expertise in electronics or server rack assembly environments.
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of production processes, robust quality standards, and lean manufacturing principles, particularly within the PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) domain.
  • Proven leadership capabilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and clear communication abilities to foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure, consistently meet deadlines, and expertly manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with production planning systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Flexibility to work in shifts and provide support for weekend or overtime work as required, ensuring fair scheduling practices and appropriate compensation.
