Job summary

SolarScape Enterprises LLP - Gadre Group is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to manage day-to-day shop-floor and shift operations at our manufacturing facility.

The role requires 5+ years of shop-floor experience, a proven track record in shift supervision, and familiarity with solar-related manufacturing such as PV, solar glass, or related processes. Safety and continuous improvement mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant shop-floor manufacturing experience.
• Experience in shift/production supervision is essential.
• Experience in solar/ PV/ architectural glass or related process manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily/shift production plans and achieve production targets.
• Allocate manpower and manage shift operations.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions and process parameters.
• Monitor productivity, yield, rejection, downtime and material utilization.
• Identify process abnormalities and coordinate with Maintenance/Engineering.
• Ensure in-process quality and proper segregation of non-conforming products.
• Support RCA, CAPA, Kaizen, 5S and productivity improvement activities.
• Ensure safe handling of glass, equipment and electrical systems.
• Train and develop operators and maintain skill matrices.
• Maintain shift production, quality, manpower and downtime reports.
